They were just begging to have their picture taken.
The herd for EverfreeNW is starting to shape up.
DJ Pon-3 in action.
The power inverter I got for the electroluminescent wire has a sound sensitive option. You know, because she’s a DJ.
Song is “Beyond Her Garden” by the talented WoodenToster
Finally my big pony project. DJ Pon-3/Vinyl Scratch all complete.
Her glasses are held in place with magnets that are secured under the eyes and inside the glasses. Mostly made of felt, with wire framing and a shear fabric over the outer “lens” to give it a nice shine.
I really loved working with the electroluminescent wire. Be sure to check out the video of the wire in action. She is a DJ pony.
Did a big photoshoot today for three ponies. My first big pony here was one of them.
She doesn’t have to be as stiff as my smaller ones, but she did need polyester pellets in her legs to keep her upright. Because she is floppy she can sit. It makes me grin everytime I see her in that position.
I’m thinking of just offering her for sale at EverfreeNW since the big ponies take so long to make. I really do love making them, however.
Trying out a non-chibi simplified pony.
Twilight is super adorable, even with button eyes.

Mystery pony project progress.
I’ve been wanting to work with electroluminescent wire for a long time now. It was also nice to break out my soldering skills again.
Big Dash just needs some hair. She’s posing here with a soda can so you can get an idea as to how big she is.
I filled up her legs with poly-pellets so she balances on her feet rather well. I also softly stuffed the tops of her legs so she can sort of sit and lay down.
Before I sewed and stuffed her I was a bit concerned that her body was going to be too big for her head. However, I think it turned out just right. I might shorten her middle if anything.
Just wanted to let you all know I’m here and knitting my fingers off. I’ve got a bunch of projects in the air that are not at any interesting stage to photograph and one custom pony that is a present so is under wraps.
I think that giant Dash will be done soon at least.

Ponies inspire me to crazy things.
I haven’t been completing as many ponies for my shop for two reasons, one building up a stock for Everfree NW, and two this idea pictured.
The one on the right is my regular pony pattern, unstuffed. The one on the left… well I just had to make a normal pony body that would fit the filly heads. I swear I’ve lost my mind.
For all of you that want a pattern of mine, here it is :)
I took lots of pictures of the Rainbow Dash I made to help explain some of the finishing bits of the pattern. I hope some of you like it enough to buy a copy.

I’m also selling simplified ponies that are using the same pattern at a reduced price since they don’t take as long to do. Starting with the Rainbow Dash as seen in the pattern images. http://www.etsy.com/listing/94216673
My work will be in the Traveling Pony Museum, and they are having a giveaway.
I think this will be an awesome project. Check it out.

Here is Scootaloo completed, better photographed, and listed.
It was fun generating up a new pattern and having eyes big enough to do more stitch work on.

Scootaloo is done and will soon be listed in my shop. Just need some time to take some proper pictures.
